I didn't do any preparations but the Ahemdabad connection helped me: Pandya Store fame Pallavi Rao on perfecting the Gujarati accent for her role

Pallavi Rao opens up about her onscreen character Prafulla mami in Pandya Store. 

MUMBAI: Star Plus' show Pandya Store is currently winning the hearts of the viewers with its intriguing storyline. 

The show has become even more popular after it underwent a leap and the new generation was introduced. 

Kanwar Dhillon, Mohit Parmar, Simran Budharup, Alice Kaushik, Akshay Kharodia among others also joined the star cast of Pandya Store. 

We all know how Pallavi Rao's character Prafulla Mami has become quite popular among the fans.

Pallavi's character is shown negative on Pandya Store but it is quite unique as it also has a comic element to it. 

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Pallavi was asked if she had taken any workshops before she started shooting for Pandya Store to get into the skin of her character. 

Pallavi has got completely into the skin of her character and she is slaying the Gujarati accent like a pro.

Pallavi said, ''I will thank for this for having my Ahemdabad connection. I am not a Gujarati but I hail from Ahemdabad.''

The actress further added, ''I somewhere got the grip of the Gujarati accent as I have observed people around me talking in Gujarati and also interacted with people.''

Pallavi also revealed that one of her co-stars Krutika Desai also mistook her being a Gujarati seeing such a wonderful performance. 

Pallavi also thanked her director for extending the support to make her character Prafulla a beautiful one.
