Ace comedian Gaurav Gera is back to take viewers on a laughter ride with SAB TV’s newly launched show Hansi He Hansi Mil Toh Lein.

This comic show is produced by Contiloe and features talented comedians like Sugandha Mishra, Suresh Menon, Kunal Kumar, VIP, Rajeev Nigam, and Sunil Pal, among others. 

At the screening of the first episode, we got in touch with Gaurav who spoke about the show, comedy and more. 

He shared, “I am quite happy with the first episode of the show. It has very different gags, which viewers will enjoy watching. I will be seen anchoring, along with donning different avatars in the project.”

Why did you choose this show? “It is a very colourful drama and I get to experiment with lot of different characters. I have worked with SAB TV and Contiloe before and they are like a family," he said.

You have been uploading many selfie videos in your 'chutki' character, tell us about that? “Chutki is a self-made character. I create ideas, execute, act, and edit the videos. One can view these videos on online social networking sites. I am happy with the response and enjoy doing it.”

What type of roles would you like to play in the future? “I would like to play roles that make me happy. I don’t see myself doing rona-dhona shows. I have been funny since my childhood and spreading laughter gives me a different kick," he said.

Who are your favourite comedians? “Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, and Suresh Menon.”

You have been part of the industry for quite a while now, how content are you as an actor? “I am quite happy with my journey in the industry. I keep doing different stuff to bring variation in my life.”

Lastly, tell us something about yourself that your fans don’t know? “Apart from video editing, I love to cook for myself. I am also a big gadget-freak and love to experiment!"
