MUMBAI: When two co-workers reminisce, they have a lot to talk about and a lot of catching up to do. But when two friends reminisce and get an opportunity to work together again, it’s like bringing back the same old days! Well, we can definitely say that for Apara Mehta and Suchita Trivedi who are working together again for Sony Entertainment Television’s show, Indiawaali Maa. 

Apara Mehta who will be essaying the character of Kesar Baa in Indiawaali Maa will be playing Kaku’s (Suchita Trivedi) massi in the show. While the two are having a lot of fun shooting together, they keep reminiscing about the last time they worked together 18 years back on Sony TV’s hit show, Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka. The two became friends ever since that show and have been cheering each other for each other’s work ever since then. But when Apara ji came to know she has to work as Kesar Baa in Indiawaali Maa with Suchita again, it was like a feather on a hat for her! 

Talking about her excitement, Apara ji shares, “Suchita and me have worked together in Sony TV’s show, Ek Mahal ho Sapno Ka  long time ago and we have been friends ever since then. We keep cheering for each other’s work and I am a big fan of her work too. I started watching Indiawaali Maa ever since it began and instantly I loved it. But when I was offered the role of Kesar Baa and I came to know that she is Kaku’s (Suchita Trivedi) massi in the show, I did not think twice and instantly said yes for the role. It’s so much fun to shoot with her again and we keep reminiscing about our ‘Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka’ days while shooting together. Shooting with Indiawaali Maa has been like homecoming for me, not just because Suchita is my friend, but also because I have worked with every crew member at some or the other time in my career and it’s just all very familiar.” 

With Kesar Baa’s entry in the scenario, will Kaku be able to reunite Rohan and Cheenu with her help? Kesar Baa is a very lively and colourful person and she spreads joy everywhere she goes. Will she be able to get through Cheenu’s heart and help Kaku in her mission?
