I will take up TV shows only if I get a lead role like Vivian Dsena in Madhubala: Sandeep Sachdev

Sandeep Sachdev
Sandeep Sachdev winner of Biggest Loser Jeetega (Sahara One) seems to be quite a positive guy. He has taken the recent lukewarm success of his second Hindi film Inkaar (where he is co- starred with Chitrangada Singh) in his stride. “You really can’t compare Sudhir Mishra’s films with the hundred crore club. He has his own niche. I know many people are criticizing the ending saying the leads (Chitrangada and Arjun Rampal) should have come together in the end but the fact that everybody is talking about it shows that we have managed to create a buzz. Plus the fact that I have Sudhir ji”s name in my resume in itself is a big achievement. What more do I want? ” Sandeep who was 125 kilos when he entered Biggest Loser Jeetega clearly has a bias towards films. “Right from the competition days I was told by Anna (Suniel Shetty) and Sahara Sri Subrata Roy that I am made for the bigger screen. Hence I have tried to do that. Anna tried to help me out but then things did not work out. I had to wait a few years then yet another TV show happened Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (2011) where I survived till the last rounds. This Colors adventure show opened the doors for cinema. I began with a south film Thupaki. Initially I was supposed to do a small role, but my work impressed the director A. R. Murgadoss (maker of Ghajani) and I got a longer presence.” Sandeep’s first Hind film was Chal Pichchur Banate hain. “It was a small budget film which managed to get a release (7 September 2012), that itself is a big thing. I was playing a second lead there.” Looking ahead, Sandeep who is also a fitness consultant says “he is in talks to feature in a few more films.” So no more TV? “Let’s be honest if I get a lead role like Vivian Dsena (Colors’ Madhubala), I will do it. But I will not do something just the for sake of it. I am also open to more reality shows, not only as contestant but as a host as well for I think I can anchor well.” All the best, Sandeep!!!
