MUMBAI : The most stylish and glamorous actress Karishma Tanna has emerged as the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi season 10 while celebrity contestants Karan Patel and Dharmesh Yelande were named first and second runners-up respectively.

Host Rohit Shetty has always appreciated her never-say-die attitude and gave her the title of student No 1. Not only did Karishma perform all the stunts with much grit but also entertained everyone with her romantic chemistry with the Bulgarian Gorilla.

On holding the trophy, the overwhelmed Karishma shared, “This is the first reality show that I have won and the feeling is surreal. After a decade a girl has won Khatron Ke Khiladi so I am very happy and in a way it is God’s gift that he saved the best for me. Though, I never imagined that I would win the show but was expecting to me the top finalists since I am physically and mentally strong. I won’t do any other reality in future but given a chance I don’t mind participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi again.”

Describing her Khatron Ke Khiladi journey, she shared, “The journey has been beautiful and I have enjoyed every bit of it. Those 45 days where the best days of my life. Khatron Ke Khiladi has been the best reality show of my career. The shooting experience is fun. You are out of India with your industry friends who become your family. You are locked in a hotel with them and when we were not shooting we used to chill and shop together. I am happy that I was Rohit Shetty’s favorite student. I was an amazing mentor and a great host.”

If not her, who she thought could win the show? “It would be a tie between Dharmesh and Tejaswi. They both are very strong. Also, I like the fact that two girls that are me and Tejaswi gave a tough fight to other boys in this season.”

Lastly, when asked how she reacts when fans were unhappy with none of the contestants paid proxy for injured Tejaswi? “Well, I have a point to rise that every celebrity came with the intention of winning the show. I did not participate to come on TV or to earn money. If you call and ask Tejaswi even she will say that she participated to win. If it was the start of the show I am sure we all would have paid proxy for her or for any other contestant but since we all were in the finale race nobody wanted to take a chance. So fans were not able to understand and got emotional. Fans saw only 45 minutes of the episode but they didn't know that we all had a meeting with the channel and unanimously the decision was taken. Also, Tejaswi herself had decided to quit as she wasn’t well. I have another point to raise that not any moment Tejaswi herself told us that someone please become a proxy for me. It was Rohit Shetty who asked all of us. Had it been Tejaswi requested me I would have surely paid a proxy for her. Also, who doesn’t want to win the show? I know I have worked really hard and if I didn’t deserve I wouldn’t have won the show.”
