MUMBAI: Indian Idol is one of the most popular singing reality shows. The show has returned with 11th season and has already struck a chord with the audience. Music composer Vishal Dadlani, Anu Malik and singer Neha Kakkar have reprised their role of judges on the show, while Aditya Narayan is hosting the season. The show is currently making headlines for a shocking incident.
Neha Kakkar, who has gained immense popularity with her style of singing, was left shocked during the auditions when a contestant forcefully kissed her. People are criticising the incident all over the social media. Recently, during a conversation on Twitter with his fans, judge Vishal Dadlani was questioned about the incident. The popular music composer revealed that he wanted to call the police, but it was Neha who decided to let the guy off the hook. Even stated that the contestant definitely needs psychiatric help, and he will try to help him get that, if they can.
He wrote on Twitter, "I suggested that the Police be called, but Neha decided to let the guy off the hook. He definitely needs psychiatric help, and we will try to help him get that, if we can."

However, a lot of fans have questioned the judges and the makers of the show and have even accused them of staging the drama for TRPs.
Take a look below:
@VishalDadlani on one hand you talk of calling the police and on the other hand you telecast the incident repeatedly for TRP. Sheer hypocrisy!

Else, #IndianIdol11 is going in the right direction. The judges have shown maturity and due compassion towards deserving participants.
It was a well planned drama to increase the TRP rating. Otherwise they would have handed him to the police. #Indianidol11
