MUMBAI: Star Bharat is soon coming up with an interesting show titled Akbar ka bal: Birbal. Ali Asgar and Vishal Kotian will be seen playing the prominent roles of King Akhbar and Birbal in the show.

TellyChakkar.com exclusively reported about Tu Aashiqui actress Rose Sardana being roped in to play a pivotal role in the show. Talking about the character in the show, Rose said, “I am playing the character of Tilotamma in the show. She is opposite Birbal and she is a royal dancer appointed by Emperor Akbar. There will be a kind of triangle between her, Birbal and Akbar’s son Shekhu. She is lively, gorgeous and full of grace. Even her dialogue delivery is also in musical form”.

Speaking about shooting in pandemic, she said, “Oh! I was very much scared! Even now I’m scared whenever I go to the set. Although the production is taking all the precautions. Daily at the entry, proper thermal checking and pulse checking is done, everyone wears a mask on set. Makeup rooms are also full sanitised. And personally, we are also taking a lot of care. Still thoda darr toh lagta hi hai.  I was really not coming for this shoot but then Mumbai is our “karmbhoomi”. At the end, we have to start again. We can’t stay away from this place for long. So that’s how I convinced my parents who are staying in Ranchi right now and they agreed to let me take up the show”.

Sharing her shooting experience with ace comedian Ali Asgar, Rose added, “The experience was super amazing! The muhurat of the show happened yesterday and I did my first scene with Ali only. It was extremely good. He is fun! And since he is into the comedy genre since long so he guides us too if required. He is polite, nice and superb in his work. It’s always a lot of fun to shoot for comedy shows”.
