The youngest ‘to-be-father’ of television, Yuvraj Thakur is still trying to fit into the shoes of Sammy’s character post marriage in Sony Entertainment Television’s Bade Achhe Lagte Hain (Balaji Telefilms).

Talking to Tellychakkar.com the young good looking guy shares, “It’s fun being part of the show, but sometimes I cannot believe what is happening. I ask myself whether I really play a married guy who is about to become a father in the show. Also the track in the show is going a bit slow, and I am still trying to adjust getting into the mood.”

On why he took up Bade Achhe, Yuraj tells us, “Firstly the production house and the team were very good and my good friend Vikas Gupta suggested that this will be a good opportunity for me. Hence I thought I should give it a try. I don’t regret my decision, but sometimes it’s unbelievable and weird to see myself doing these stuffs as I just don’t relate to my character.”

Having played a school boy in Humse Hai Life and then a college student in Best Friends Forever, it seems like a perfect transition for Yuvraj. Smiling away, the actor says, “No offence to anyone, but do I look like a married man in any way? Many actors do not mind playing a husband or father, but I feel I still have a long way to go before I do such roles. So the transition will have to stop here.”

So does it mean that he will take a break? “Not exactly a break, but there are couple of projects in the pipeline which I will not like to talk about at the moment. Let things get sorted out a bit so that I can officially announce the good news.”

Yuvraj further quips, “But the best thing about the show is that I got to work with senior actors like Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor. They are really sweet and although I did not have many scenes with them, they have been really nice to me. I had a good conversation with them off screen where they shared their experiences.”

He adds on, “About Ekta (Kaul) and Sonia (Balani), they are one of the sweetest co-actors I have worked with. Ekta who has been part of a daily show earlier gives us tips and Sonia on the other hand asks suggestions from us. It’s a very friendly work atmosphere and we really enjoy a lot on the sets.”

Yuvraj, you do let go certain things to gain some!!
