MUMBAI: Actor Ayush Anand, who has been seen in shows such as Jodha Akbar, Balika Vadhu, Ishqbaaaz, and Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji, is now part of Perfect Pati on &TV in the title role. The actor says that he is glad to be part of the show.
‘The role, character, and show are perfect. I guess it was destiny that I got through the audition. I also feel that my previous characters contributed in a major way,’ he says.
Talking about his character, he adds, ‘Unpredictable…that's the word that describes Pushkar.’ Ask him about the character he enjoys playing the most, and he says, ‘Playing a grey character, because it has the best of both worlds and is more real.’

The actor loves working with Jaya Pradha in his show and says he learns so much from her. ‘It's a thorough pleasure, privilege, and honour to work with her. She is a delight to work with…so humble and down to earth. I never expected her to be like this. Jaya Pradha is an inspiration. I have grown up watching her films and still admire her work. I loved Aakhree Raasta, Sharabi, and Maa,’ he says.
