Jayshree Soni who has been a part of interesting shows like Agnipareeksha Jeevan Ki – Gangaa and Rishton Ke Bhanwar Mein Uljhi Niyati is currently seen in the SAB TV show Chidiya Ghar portraying an interesting character of Machli. The pretty lady has a rather interesting story of how she became a part of the television industry. Read on to find out more about the beautiful actress. Jayshree said, “I hail from Jaipur and I had come to Mumbai to enquire about a Mass Communication course for 4 days. I was put up at a friend’s place and as my friend suggested, I gave an audition for few shows and returned to my hometown after collecting my form. My parents were in for a major shock as I got an audition call after 2 days, and within a week, my life was transformed from an ordinary person to a television celebrity.” Jayshree makes a point here that she would like to essay roles which will challenge her skills as an actor. Commenting on the new trend which has started where a character becomes a part of three generations, something similar to what is being churned out in Uttaran, Madhubala, Pavitra Rishta and apparently Qubool Hai, the pretty lady stated, “If the show is earning good TRP’s and the characters are progressing in the story, there is nothing like it!” She adds how she personally liked watching Qubool Hai and Balika Vadhu. She expressed, “I do not find time to watch these shows now but my family watches Uttaran and they find it very interesting. As actors, we never know what would interest the viewers. It can be anything from the storyline, the actor or the concept.” Talking about her show Chidiya Ghar, we asked Jayshree about her experience working with Debina Bonnerjee who has recently made a comeback on the show. “Well, I have not shot any scenes with her yet, so I would not be able to comment on that.” We wish you a very happy career ahead, Jayshree!!!
