Jiya Chuahan, who has earlier worked in Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hai and Mere Angne Mein, has been roped in for Big Magic’s Akbar Birbal season 2.
The show is set to launch with new season. Actors Kiku Sharda, Vishal Kotain, Rimpi Das and Delnaaz Irani will continue to be part on this season as well. Jiya’s character, Masakali, will be a blend of evil and comedy. In a way, she would create a misunderstanding between Akbar and Birbal.
We buzzed Jiya, who shared, “Yes, I have been roped in for Akbar Birbal. I am playing the role of Masakali and will start shooting from tomorrow.”
Akbar Birbal season 2 will hit the TV screens on February 22.
