After the announcment of the final 15 contestants on Sahara One's new reality show Saas vs Bahu, its time to announce the judges. Actress cum producer Aroona Irani and chorographer Longi have been roped in as the judges of the show.
"I'm happy to be part of this show. It's a mixed feeling of excitement and worry being in the seat of a judge. Let's wait and watch what happens," says Aroona Irani
What will be your criteria of judging? "There are no criteria as such. The one who will perform well will get good marks. I'll be fair on my part and there is no favouring any bahu or saas," she adds.
This is the first time that Aroona will be judging a reality show. How does it feel? "That's the reason its a bit scary and funny too. The contestants are my colleagues so its going to be difficult while announcing the elimination," she quips.
Siddharth Tewary of Swastik Production says, "We choose Aroonaji as judge because she is perfect. She has been in both the film and TV industry and is a fabulous dancer too. Fortunately she has also been on television since long and today is looked up on as a most respected senior person."
The other judge is chorographer Longi who was last seen in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa on Sony. "Well we took Longi as we needed somebody who could judge these participants on their dance steps and presentation. He is tremendous at his job and will be monitoring their performances," he adds.
The shooting of the show will start by 31 July. So get ready to groove with the saas and bahus
