Ishita aka Divyanka Tripathi (Yeh Hai Mohabbatein – Star Plus) seems to have finally met her match. Television's favorite bahu hopped onto the sets of Life OK’s upcoming project Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant,  where she bumped into the lead 'bahu Rajnikant'.

That’s not all! The actress reportedly shot a scene for the upcoming sci-fi sitcom as well.

So, is Divyanka also a part of the soap?

Well, no! Divyanka will be seen making a special appearance in the opening episode. In fact, she would be introducing the series.

Talking about her involvement, the actress said, “The concept of Rajni_Kant is very interesting. I feel audience will enjoy this show as a concept like this is coming after ages. When I was a kid I used to love watching such series. Now that Rajni_Kant is coming, I would enjoy this one as well.”

When asked about her shooting experience Divyanka averred, “I had a small guest appearance. I did it for my friend and writer of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and now the Rajni_Kant’s producer, Sonali Jaffer . It was interesting, the set is very beautiful and the unit is also very nice. I really enjoyed working with all of them. My best wishes to the team of Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant.” 

We also contacted Tanvi Thakker, who said, "Divyanka is making a special appearance on the show, but I can’t reveal much about it. It was a superb meet. I am a huge YHM and Divyanka fan, so I was really happy to meet her. She is a beautiful person and very positive.”

Starring Karan V Grover and Ridhima Pandit, the show also features Pankit Thakker, Vahbbiz Dorabjee, Tanvi Thakkar and Mehul Nisar in pivotal roles. It will air from 15 February.
