MUMBAI: The episode sees how Rohit assures Sonakshi that he will inform Veena that she has a shoot today and would be late for dinner. But after Sonakshi’s call, Rohit gets a call from the hospital informing him about the critical condition of a patient. Veena gets worried as she sees Rohit leave for the hospital for an emergency. Later, Veena shops with Tanya and while coming back home she tells her how she will show off to Sundari about Sonakshi. Tanya feels inferior as Veena refers to Sonakshi as the best daughter-in-law. She calls Sonakshi but she doesn’t answer the phone. She calls Suman and asks about Sonakshi and she tells Veena that Sonakshi must be in the shoot. Veena tells Suman that Sonakshi didn’t even inform her about her shoot as she had asked her to take a leave today. Suman tells Veena that Sonakshi cannot take so many leaves due to the nature of her profession. Suman also tells her that Rohit stopped Sonakshi from informing her as he was going to do it himself but didn’t. Meanwhile, Rohit asks the nurse to not take any calls or appointments as they need to perform surgery on the patient immediately.

Later, Veena decides to go to Sonakshi’s set to get her back home. Tanya feels left out and tells Veena to leave her to a cab as she’s planning to go to the hospital and meet Rohan. Meanwhile, Rohan goes on a long drive with Pari. As he holds her hand romantically, Tanya calls him. He lies to her and says that he’s out with Rahul as something important at work came up. He also tells her that he might come home late. Sonakshi sees 25 missed calls from Veena and panics. She plans to get done with her work soon to get home early. Later as she calls Rohit to ask him why didn’t he inform about her shooting at home, Rohit gets enraged and scolds her. He tells her that his patient is battling life and death, and asks her to not irritate him by calling him constantly. Sonakshi feels absurd as Rohit never spoke so harshly with her before. Soon, Netra arrives in Sonakshi’s dressing room and Sonakshi requests her to let her leave early today as she has to be at the family dinner. Netra gets furious at Sonakshi and asks her to set her priorities right as she is beginning to take her job very lightly. She tells Sonakshi about the pressure from the channel and their constant threats about closing down their show.

Later, Akash sees Veena worried as Sundari is about to arrive any moment. He lightens up her mood and assures her that he would make all the dinner preparations perfectly. Sukhmani tells Veena that she looks like she is about to meet her mother-in-law. Later, Naren teases Veena about Sonakshi and tells her that her job is more important than the dinner. He jokingly tells her that if Sonakshi doesn’t go for her shoot, the press will create havoc outside their house. Soon, Sundari arrives and Veena gets tensed as she goes to welcome her. Meanwhile, Pari and Rohan fool around in their parked car. Suddenly, a policeman arrives there and knocks on their window to check what they’re doing. Pari and Rohan panic and get in the front seat. Pari drives away hurriedly and Rohan gets stressed if the policeman might’ve noted the car’s number. As they both drive away in a hurry, Pari gets distracted and accidentally hits someone with her car. Soon, Sundari sits with the family and begins to brag about her daughter-in-law Shweta. She also insults Akash and Deepa. She also gets disappointed as she realises Ajit is still partying at his age. She asks Veena about Sonakshi and Veena tells her that Sonakshi is a celebrity too. Sundari laughs and demeans Sonakshi’s profession. She asks Veena to control her and keep her in line using fear as she clearly isn’t home even when she was asked to be. Sonakshi replies to Sundari from the balcony and tells her that she might be the one to use fear but they believe in using love to deal with their family. Everyone sees Sonakshi and feel relieved.
