MUMBAI: TV actor Kamal Chellani, who has featured in shows like Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey and Jiji Maa, has bagged Colors’ popular show Gathbandhan.
Gathbandhan is produced by talented duo Jay Mehta and Kinnari Mehta and features Shruti Sharma as ACP Dhanak Parekh and Abrar Qazi as Raghu Jadhav.
TellyChakkar has learned that the show will soon witness the entry of Kamal Chellani. The actor will play the parallel lead. His entry will create a love triangle in the show.
Kamal, who is also a theatre artist, confirmed being a part of Gathbandhan.
The show brings together the different worlds of Dhanak (police officer) and Raghu (former gangster). The romance genre works well with the family drama and comic elements.
