Colors’ show Code Red (Sunshine Rise Productions) has been churning out some interesting stories based on real life incidents and soon we hear that the series will showcase one episode on medical malpractice.

And for this special sequence we hear that talented actor Kapil Soni of Hitler Didi fame has been roped in as an IPS officer, S P Modgil.

Set in the backdrop of Chattisgarh, this special episode will focus on the free eye camps funded by the Government and the medical malpractices occurring there.

A woman, who would have lost her eyesight will visit such camps for her treatment but soon after that will face some curative problems. And then on it will be revealed the professional misconduct going on in such camps. And Kapil will be seen entering the scene to deal with the issue along with Kabir (Yash Sinha), who will start investigating the matter.

When we contacted Kapil, he confirmed the news and mentioned, “I have already shot for it and I am very much excited to play the role. I appreciate this kind of shows which are inspirational as these series works as an eye opener for all. Moreover, as an actor we need to portray our characters as naturally as possible. Personally I wonder how such negligence can occur on the part of the doctors, whom we regard with such high esteem”.
