MUMBAI: The episode sees how Mr Bajaj makes a heartfelt confession to Prerna. While Mohini asks her friend to find Anurag a wife, he is shocked to see Prerna holding hands with Mr Bajaj. Anurag tries to explain Prerna by telling her that she shouldn’t let Rishabh think that she has started to develop feelings for him. Anurag tells her that once he had made the same mistake of marrying Komolika and pretending to hate Prerna, however, when she did not give up on them, he also would not let her pretend to love Rishabh. Prerna tells Anurag that since he was not ready to understand, she would not want to waste her time trying to make him understand.

Anurag tells Prerna that although she was choosing to ignore seeing his feelings for her, he would not let her go. Prerna leaves and Anurag goes to see Mr. Bajaj. Rishabh reminisces his moments with Prerna, just when Anurag comes to him. Getting annoyed, as his thoughts got interrupted, Rishabh tells Anurag to leave him alone. Anurag mocks Rishabh and tells him that true love always win and while he chose to stay in the prison, he himself would make sure Prerna comes back to him. Anurag then drops Shivani home and leaves for the Basu Bari.

Here, Sharda and Mohini get into an argument, where Mohini was seen celebrating while Sharda tells Mohini to not talk against Rishabh. Mohini was elated, as his son was able to send Rishabh to prison for trying to kill him and punish him. On the other hand, Sharda tells Prerna that she would not tolerate if anyone mistreated Rishabh and mocked his integrity. She also tells Prerna that while she chose to remain quiet when Mohini was attacking Rishabh’s truthfulness, she expected her to take a stand for her husband and defend him. Prerna tells Sharda that while she claimed that Rishabh was putting efforts to gain her trust, it was something that has to be earned and not claimed.
