MUMBAI: Recently, a fire broke out on the sets of TV show Kumkum Bhagya which stars Shabir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha in it. In no time the fire brigade reached the location and the situation was brought under control. No major injury has happened and the cast and crew are safe. But this has not just brought Kumkum Bhagya's shoot to a halt but also of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2's shoot has stopped.

Reason being that Kasautii Zindagii Kay cast and crew also shoot in close proximity to Kumkum Bhagya and hence as a precautionary measure Kasautii Zindagii Kay production unit has stopped their shoot. A leading entertainment portal spoke to a source from the set to know about the accident and he said, "The fire broke around 4-4:15 pm due to a short circuit and in no time it caught fire miserably. Thankfully no one got injured as timely the available people started pouring water and in the meantime fire brigade also reached. Shoots have been packed up and people have been sent back home for now. Where authorities are doing their work".
Earlier too Kasautii Zindagii Kay shoot was stopped for almost a week after its main lead Parth Smathaan aka Anurag Basu tested positive for COVID-2019.
