MUMBAI: Kaun Banega Crorepati 11, which is one of the favourite shows of our country is currently under the scanner and have been receiving several criticisms because of a slip-up caused by the channel.

It all started when in one of the questions asked by Big B to the contestants; the four options given also had Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's as one of the options. The channel mistakenly wrote his name only as Shivaji and forgot to add the title attached to his name. Netizens were left furious which led to them trending Boycott Sony TV on social media for almost the entire day.

The channel instantly realized the mistake and rendered an apology by running a ticker on their next episode and also tweeted about it.

Post this, the show’s host Amitabh Bachchan also tweeted about this error. He apologized for this slip-up and said that they didn't mean to hurt anyone's sentiments.

The Pink actor’s tweet read, "No disrespect meant at all .. apologies if it has hurt sentiments ".

Netizens might have had a sigh of relief post Big B’s apology and the channel realizing the mistake.
