MUMBAI : Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 will air on television soon, and fans are eager to see Rohit Shetty return with an intriguing cast of participants. The next season of the stunt-based reality show features Abhishek Kumar, who shot to fame following his time on Bigg Boss 17. He has already left for Romania.

Abhishek Kumar desires to enter the movie industry and wants to play the role of a police officer in a movie directed by famous director Rohit Shetty. The Bigg Boss 17 contestant said he is working really hard to get into movies. He really hopes to appear in one of Rohit Shetty's films as a police officer.

The actor became well-known in 2021 when he portrayed Amrik Singh Virk in the television show Udaariyaan. He admits the small screen's influence on who he is today and credits it for his current success.

Abhishek made appearances in music videos after coming second in the reality show Bigg Boss 17, but he ultimately made the decision to take a break from television work. The actor stated that he is not working on any TV series at this time. Despite working on small-screen projects, he's taking a break to star in a reality show.

Abhishek agrees that the drama on the small screen isn't as popular as it once was. He said, "Yes because OTT shows have come, the audience has been divided. Before OTT, it was different. But on my side, in Punjab, television channels and shows are still appreciated."

Abhishek Kumar won over a lot of hearts even if he didn't take home the Bigg Boss 17 title. His impressive performance helped him rank first runner-up, with Munawar Faruqui taking the title.

However, the 27-year-old was criticized after being kicked from the show after a fight with Samarth Jurel, but he was also supported by several celebs who thought he was provoked. Tensions between Samarth and Abhishek seem to have resolved after they left the program, and they now have a healthy friendship bond.
