Having won accolades for its unique concept in its previous leg and reforming relationships, Star Plus is back with Aap Ki Kachehri – Kiran Ke Saath. Kiran Bedi, the anchor of the show, India’s first woman IPS officer and Noble Laureate has spearheaded an Aap Ki Kachehri movement across the country with the aim of gathering peoples’ support in spreading the message of hope, optimism and peaceful co-existence. The first leg of the march was flagged off in Mumbai from the streets of Dadar where people came out to support and cheer Kiran Bedi as she led the march. Preceding the march she travelled on the Mumbai local train from Marine Lines to Dadar and interacted freely with people around her, about their rights and duties as citizens of India. As the show will soon move to other cities Kiran Bedi is set to visit Ahmedabad, Indore and Lucknow on August 8, 10 and 12 respectively and strengthen the Aap Ki Kachehri movement by gathering more support from all corners. Said Kiran Bedi, “I am very happy with the overwhelming response we have received for this initiative in Mumbai and am confident that the same will resonate in other cities as well. Umeed Ki Nayee Lehar spreads hope and optimism amongst disputing parties and we hope to reach out to more people and create awareness.” Aap Ki Kachehri is set to showcase more cases from across the length and breadth of the country. Also expanding its offerings, Aap Ki Kachehri will cover various types of disputes ranging from family, civil, marital, business, etc. Aap Ki Kachehri is on air every Monday to Friday at 8.00 pm.
