It’s celebration time for the crew of Kumkum Bhagya. The popular Balaji show on Zee TV completes 200 episodes today.
 
Loosely based on Jane Austen’s novel Sense and Sensibility, the show which centers around the life of two sisters Pragya (Sriti Jha) and Bulbul (Mrunal Thakur), has successfully managed to win the hearts of the audiences.

On this occasion we spoke to actor Arjit Taneja, who essays the role of Purab in the show, and he commented, “It feels great that the show has successfully completed two hundred episodes. I just wish that someday it will be able to complete 1000 episodes and will remain equally popular.”

We also spoke to Mrunal Thakur aka Bulbul and she said, “I simply wish that the celebration does not stop here on 200 only, rather zeros should continue to add on with the number.”

“The channel has decided to celebrate this achievement and they will send a cake on the sets and soon we will be having a cake cutting ceremony”, added the bubbly actress.
