MUMBAI: The episode begins with Rishabh getting stunned knowing that Karan married Preeta. Sherlyn tells him that Karan's hasn't got Preeta home. Rishabh leaves in anger and Sherlyn is seen smiling. Rishabh goes to Karan's room where he is lying on the floor. Rishabh wakes him up asking him why he did that. He tells Karan that he could take him to the cops. Rishabh tells him that he should not have done that to Preeta. Karan tells him to take him to the cops if wants to and that he knows that he has feelings for Preeta. Rishabh denies having any feelings for Preeta and says he would have reacted in the same way if it was any other girl or even their own sister. 

Rishabh tells him that he has committed a crime for which he can be taken to court. Karan tells him that if he wants to do justice with Preeta he will have to do justice with him too. Rishabh asks what justice does he want to which Karan explains that he wants his father to get up and hug his elder brother. Karan says that Preeta has broken his family. Karan asks Rishabh if he thinks he is wrong. Rishabh asks him to ask himself that question. Preeta is crying when Sarla comes there and tells her that she can cry as much as she wants that day but the next day she wants to see her smiling. Sarla takes off Preeta's bangles and assures her that everything will be okay. 

She asks her to change her clothes. Preeta sits in front of the dressing table and thinks how her special day became a day on which she got a punishment for a crime she never committed. She recalls how Karan promised to be with her and cries seeing her forehead. Dadi asks Rakhi if Karan is still sleeping. Sherlyn tells her that Rishabh is in Karan's room. Rakhi tells Karina she is thinking what can they do after the mistake that Karan has committed. Sherlyn suggests that they can respond by saying that it is fake news. 

Dadi says that they cannot do this as they live in the same society and Karan married Preeta with all rituals and norms. Karina feels that Karan was forced into this marriage and not something he did because he wanted to seek revenge. She even says that Sarla will now ask for money. Rakhi defends them saying that Sarla will not ask for money. Sherlyn thinks to herself that she will not allow Aroras to take even a single rupee from Luthras. She wants to think of a solution. Srishti asks Sameer to meet her.  Sarla returns home complaining that the prices of vegetables have spiked. Everyone look at her with confusion and she asks them if Preeta is still in her room. Preeta comes out herself and Sarla asks her if she will have tea. Preeta says that she will make it and everyone says that even they will have it.
