MUMBAI: Famous actor Swapnil Joshi is soon going to be seen in Sony Entertainment Television’s daily series Ladies Special. The star is back on small screen after 10 years by playing a cameo in Ladies Special.

The actor is apparently playing himself in the show. He will be seen entertaining people with his inimitable comic timing and charm. Turns out that Swapnil will be seen in a burkha till his identity is revealed by the leading ladies of the show. Meghana Nikade played by Girija Oak essays the role of an entrepreneur with a garment business and in the show and Swapnil is going to play a huge part in her life by giving her a big very big garments order.

When asked to Swapnil what he has to say on coming back to television, he shared, “I’m doing Hindi mainstream Tv after almost 10 years or so as I was busy doing Marathi films. It’s a great feeling because it’s like you’re coming back to your roots. Deep down I’m very much a TV product, whatever I am is thanks to TV. Mainstream Hindi Tv is what gave me my name, fame and whatever respect I’ve earned. It’s like I’m coming home, and I think I’ve done maximum work on Hindi Television with Sony. Sony has been extremely instrumental in building and flourishing my career and it’s like family. So, when I got a call that there’s a cameo, it was like an old friend calling and I was like yes, I’m just going to go ahead and do it. I’m very happy to be a part of Ladies Special. I think Ladies Special as a show is very enriching and beyond entertainment, it’s a very aspirational show. It gives you hope and happiness. It makes you look forward to tomorrow. So, I’m very glad that I’m part of such a show that is loved by people so much. I’ve watched the promos of the show and loved it.”
