MUMBAI: Laughter Chef 2 continues to dominate the television charts, securing its position among the top ten shows as per the latest BARC TRP ratings. The show’s blend of humour, drama, and celebrity flair has struck a chord with viewers, keeping it firmly in the spotlight.

As previously reported, actress Jasmin Bhasin recently made a special appearance on the show to support her partner, Aly Goni. However, her interaction with fellow contestant Elvish Yadav has sparked unexpected controversy.

During a candid on-screen moment, Elvish shared the challenges of juggling his hectic schedule, revealing that he regularly flies from Delhi to Mumbai for shoots and often lacks proper rest which explains his signature sunglasses during filming. In response, Jasmin jokingly suggested that he should consider stepping aside to make space for someone "more committed".

While her remark was seemingly light-hearted, it didn’t sit well with Elvish’s devoted fanbase. Social media quickly lit up with criticism, accusing Jasmin of being disrespectful and undermining Elvish’s efforts.

In a move that surprised many, Elvish took to his social media to defend Jasmin and set the record straight. Addressing the controversy, he wrote:

"Hey guys, let’s chill out! There’s been a misunderstanding about Jasmin’s statement because it’s not the full video. We’re actually good friends, and I don’t want any hate towards her. Let’s focus on spreading love and positivity instead."

His mature and composed response earned praise from fans, showcasing his strong bond with Jasmine and his commitment to maintaining a positive atmosphere around the show.

There’s no denying that Elvish commands a fiercely loyal fanbase — always ready to rally behind him. But with his recent post, he’s reminded everyone of the importance of context, friendship, and a bit of good-natured fun.

As Laughter Chef 2 continues to entertain audiences, it’s heartening to see camaraderie and mutual respect shine through, even in the face of online drama.
