Life OK's Bahu Humari Rajni_Kant to end

Curtains down on popular Life OK show
Bahu Humari Rajni_Kant

Bahu Humari Rajni_Kant, a path-breaking show in the realm of Indian television, with its protagonist being a robot, gave much needed boost to an otherwise feeble content line up of Life OK.

Ridhima Pandit aka Rajni and Karan V Grover's initial chemistry captured audience interest, not to mention TRPs soaring.

Post Karan's exit, the genial flow received a thud and replacement Raqesh Bapat's experience and acumen failed to notch up audience interest.

Gradually, the sand kept slipping out of the palm and now, we have learnt that Rajni will wrap up with airing of its final episode on 10 February (2017).

It is believed that upcoming show Har Mard Ka Dard might take up the time slot.

The buzz became concrete via a social media post by Vahbiz Dorabjee, who is an integral part of the show.

She mentioned about the show ending but the bonhomie continuing.

Well, sad news for Rajni fans. Full House Media is the maker of the project.

Later Producer Sonali Jaffer and Tanvi Thakkar (an actor in the show) connected with us.

Tanvi shared, “Out of all the shows that I have done, Bahu Humari Rajni_Kant has been closest to my heart. Not only because it has been immensely loved by people, but also because it gave me another family. Going on set was like going home. From the makers, Aamir Jaffer and Sonali, to the crew and of course the wonderful cast, all are the most positive and fun people to work with. I feel I am taking a life time of memories back and I feel so blessed to have been associated with such a unique show.”

Producer Sonali confirmed and said, “It is a show which has given us an identity as a production house. The project was contracted for 262 episodes and we have canned those. It was a fruitful journey and a wonderful experience, nothing about it I would like to change.”
