LOL on Swaragini set: Pizza war between a MONKEY and Namish Taneja

Namish Taneja

Actor Namish Taneja was recently in for some ‘adventure’ time on the sets of Colors’ Swaragini (Rashmi Sharma Productions). What really happened? Well tha actor had to run behind a monkey for a long time to get back a slice of pizza that it had snatched away when they were shooting…

Yes, we are speaking the truth here… Hilarious, isn’t it?

Well, the particular sequence that was being shot in the secluded area in Ghodbunder had Lakshya (Namish Taneja) feeding a slice of Pizza to Swara (Helly Shah). However, as they were shooting this sequence, trouble in the form of a monkey landed on them, and it dutifully snatched the slice from Swara.

Well, as soon as the slice of pizza was gone, there was utter chaos in the camp, as they did not have another slice to continue and finish the shoot.

And this was when ‘Mr. Hero’, Namish volunteered to help. And to the surprise of one and all, the young lad ran behind the monkey for nearly 30 minutes before he could successfully snatch it away from the animal.

How sweet of Namish to have done that!!

When contacted, Namish in his excitement mood told us, “It was very funny; I had to chase the monkey for a long time to get back the pizza. That was the last piece we had, and it was impossible for us to get another pizza arranged in short time. So I had to do this to complete the shoot (smiles).”

Aww, three cheers for your hard work, Namish!!
