As reported earlier Hema Malini Productions’ Maati Ki Banno goes off-air this Friday. Just like any other show on TV this one too will have a happy ending. A source says, “As shown in the earlier episodes Saudamini’s (Aasiya Kazi) ghost is back in the house and she wants to take away Vikram (Manoj Chandila). But, this is not what will happen as the family will summon a Tantrik who will help them get rid of Saudamini’s ghost. Post this the family will live happily ever after.” Another source says, “When we initially started the show our TRP was 1.5. We managed to get 1.1 for the first three weeks but then the original story line was changed and after Surya Narayan’s character was paralysed the TRPs started falling. Even Saudamini’s entry did not make much of a difference and now the show goes off-air.” The cast and crew have already packed up as April 30 was the day of their last shoot. But there was a lot of unhappiness on the sets as almost everybody was upset with its abrupt end. So what will the actors do post this? Manoj said, “Yes, we are done with the shooting and I am back to my gym. I have also joined dance classes.” Via Roy Choudhury who is on her way home says, “I will be going back to my hometown soon as I haven’t been there in the past two and a half years. This is the right time to go and meet my family.” Aasiya just wants to rest for now as she says, “I am going to rest for a few days as I’ve got a break now.”
