MUMBAI: The wait is finally over and Sony Entertainment Television’s much loved mythological show has got the new Parvati. Actress Madirakshi Mundle who is a popular face in TV industry, especially for her roles in mythological shows will be seen in the role of Parvathi. The actress is all geared up for her new venture – Vighnaharta Ganesh and has recently completed her mock shoot for the same. She will soon start shooting and will enter the show at the time of the most important sequence of the show when it would be depicting Ganesha’s Ashtavinayak Avatar.

The show has been a pioneer in depicting the stories of various avatars of Indian Gods especially Ganesha, Parvati and Shiva and at present audiences can see the story of Ganesha’s birth in Vinayak avatar in which he kills the twin asurs Narantak and Durantak. Madirakshi is really excited as in the show she would be getting a chance to play various avatars of Parvati. “I belong to a Brahman family from Indore and my family runs a temple back there. It feels so good to get a chance to essay the roles of Devi, whose stories I have grown up listening. I feel that it is the blessing of Goddess Parvati that I was selected for this role”, the actress quoted.

Revealing about her mock shoot and her excitement to be a part of Vighnaharta Ganesh, Madirakshi shares, “I loved the set and the location when I reached Aamgaon. The atmosphere there is so divine and pure, it gets so easy to get in the feel of Goddess Parvati. I am looking forward to shooting for the show but more than me, I think that my mother is excited for my role. I am also elated that I will enter the show with one of the biggest tracks which is the Ashtavinayak track. I feel that there couldn’t be a better time for me to start my journey with the show than this.”
