It’s certainly raining new shows with fresh concepts and fresh cast across channels.

Acclaimed writer and producer Mahesh Pandey was all set to go solo for a show on Zee TV, titled Ayodhya. However, he later joined in with Vikas Seth under the banner Trishulla Productions (the same association which is presently producing show on Zee TV, Yeh Vaada Raha) to make the project.

But the latest on the show’s development is that it was not commissioned on Zee TV, owing to issues related to budget. 

News coming in now is that the endeavour might see its dawn on Sony TV. 

As per sources, “The show which will be a family drama is now being pitched to Sony TV. And Mahesh Pandey has yet again gone solo in making it.”

If things do materialize, this will be the first solo venture of Mahesh Pandey as a producer. 

We tried contacting producers Mahesh Pandey and Vikas Seth, but they remained unavailable for comments.

We buzzed the channel spokesperson at Sony, but did not receive any revert till the time we filed the story.
