Life OK is soon to roll out the revamped version of its popular series Shapath - Supercop vs Supervillains (Fireworks Productions).

The upcoming revamped show is going to have a bunch of new faces and a fresh storyline. As earlier reported, popular actors Harshad Arora, Ragini Nandwani, Ankit Raj, among others, have been roped to play some exciting characters in the upcoming series. Now, we are here to update on the entry of another popular face.  

Beautiful actress Maleeka R Ghai, who has featured in popular shows like D4, Saraswatichandra, Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hain and others, has been finalized to play a key role.

Our source informs us, "Maleeka will play Harshad Arora's mom, Tapaswi, a tribal queen.  She will be a very loving and supporting mother to his son, Jay (Harshad Arora). She would have found Jay in a jungle and adopted him.  It’s a strong character.”

When we contacted Maleeka, she confirmed the news with us and said, "It’s a very auspicious project for me. The series is being shot like a film. It breaks the monotony of a typical mother look from a daily soap. Here I have been given a very interesting appearance with a different costumes and jewellery. I am really enjoying enacting my part. People still remember me for my on-screen equation with Gautam Rode in Saraswatichandra. I am hoping that my association with Harshad Arora will be equally loved by the audience. The show has a very interesting star cast."

Maleeka R Ghai is also seen on two shows on DD National i.e. Rashi Villa, where she plays a very witty character and Sunshine Productions' Aadha Full, where she plays mother to the female protagonist.
