MUMBAI: Maninee De is one such actress who has explored both Bollywood and television industry to the fullest in her long career span.

The pretty diva is a bundle of talent and showcased it in each and every character she has portrayed so far.

From portraying glamorous to grey-shaded characters, Maninee has raised the bar with her stellar performances in movies, TV, and web shows.

The actress is now all set to be seen in a completely different avatar in Star Bharat's Savdhaan India and we can't be more excited.

It is always a delight to see such a great artist showcasing her talent in an eye-opening show like Savdhaan India.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress who spilt beans on her role and much more.

Maninee plays the role of a cop which itself is a huge thing for the actress as well as her fans.

On being asked to share an incident which will always remain memorable in her life, Maninee said, "We were shooting for a sequence in a crematorium and when I saw the ashes and the entire sight of the place, I just couldn't stop thinking about it."

The actress added, "I was just looking at it and was speechless and a man standing next to me also asked me if I were fine or not. That's when I realised that nothing else in the world matters, we all are going to experience the same thing one day. The whole sight and the incident gave me a reality check."

Further, describing her experience of playing a cop, Maninee, who seemed super-excited, said that “I simply love playing such roles which prove me as an actress.” She says she is like water and can adapt herself to any character.

Maninee also shared a fun experience and that is she is happy for not getting all decked up and has to be in her simple avatar for the shoot.

The actress also revealed how the character is quite demanding in terms of energy and it requires a lot of strength to portray such a challenging role.

Maninee said she observed her surrounding a lot while prepping for her role and it helped her a lot.

Lastly, the Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin actress thanked the channel Star Bharat and the production house for giving her such a lifetime opportunity where she got to star in such a popular show. Maninee also thanked Mahir Khan, producer of Mahir films for giving her an opportunity to play such an amazing role.
