He showed the world how good an actor he is with his meticulous and sharp performance as Chanakya in Imagine’s Chandragupta Maurya. Yes, the show went off air abruptly with Imagine TV closing down. But there’s a positive buzz that it will come back on Sony Entertainment Television. “Yes, I am hopeful about it. Fans have been supporting us a lot,” said Manish when he came to our office as a guest editor. He looked strikingly handsome wearing a white shirt and a pair of cream colored trouser. “It was shocking for us with Imagine shutting down suddenly. But the show did not come to a logical ending. So there is still space left to tell a tale. And hopefully it will come back to entertain its fans all over again,” Manish further shared. His character Chanakya has gained such an iconic status that his face now appears on books pertaining to Chanakya’s life. “The other day I saw a book on Chanakya with my face on the cover page. It was quite exhilarating.” He was in a hurry and had to leave but not before making this promise, “I will come back again… pretty soon. I had a nice time here,” he ended.
