Zee TV’s Fear Files, which is jointly produced by Contiloe Telefilms and Dreamz Images, has bagged very good numbers in its second week too (average of 3.5TVR). The show which deals with real life cases will focus on female infanticide that prevails in a village in Rajasthan. Muskaan Nancy James of Mata Ki Chowki fame, who was last seen in Sony Entertainment Television’s Adaalat, will be seen in this particular episode which is being produced by Dreamz Images. The shooting location for the project is Kolhapur. The story is about this girl Gayathri, played by Muskaan who comes from abroad with her husband and their little daughter to stay in this village. Her aim is to sell off the huge property that she owns in the village. As she starts living in the haveli, she witnesses certain strange happenings, which eventually lead to her daughter going missing. On investigating, she finds out that a certain room in the haveli is actually the place where female infants were being brutally killed. The spirits of the kids actually want freedom and they seek Gayathri’s help by kidnapping her daughter. The story will thereafter revolve around Gayathri and the manner in which she goes about performing shraddh for the dead kids and thus setting them free. When contacted, Muskaan Nancy James confirmed the news and said, “Yes, we have reached Kolhapur in the wee hours of this morning. We are yet to begin shoot. And mine is a very strong character in the episode.” This sequence will air soon.
