MUMBAI: Aashish Mehrotra has been ruling several hearts with his beautiful performance in Star Plus' show Anupamaa.

The handsome hunk is romancing hottie Nidhi Shah in the show, and fans are loving this brand new pair of the small screen.

Well, Aashish has been doing quite well in his career, which is reaching new heights with every passing day.

Aashish's character Paritosh has been quite vital in the show.

The actor's character has changed a lot since the beginning and continues to do so.

As per the recent track of Anupamaa, viewers saw how differences have developed between Anupamaa and Kinjal.

The constant taunting of Baa has irked Kinjal. She is totally frustrated that she is being compared to Anupamaa all the time.

While Kinjal is trying her best to do the household work, Baa is not happy with her work.

Kinjal's patience is broken and speaks rudely to Baa. Anupamaa takes Baa's side instead of hers, which irks her more.

Amidst all this, Toshu tries to explain things to Kinjal and they also end up fighting.

The real saas-bahu drama has now begun, and Toshu is going to face huge problems.

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Aashish got candid about his role in the current track.

Aashish said, ''A guy always gets stuck between his mother and wife. Toshu is going through the same. He is going through all of it. He is understanding both his wife and mother.''

The actor further said, ''Toshu has been very clear that he never said Kinjal should do all the household work, but he is against her arguing with his mother.''

It will be interesting to see how Toshu handles all of this and whether it will affect his personal equation with Kinjal and Anupamaa.
