MUMBAI: Dating reality show, Splitsvilla has always been in the buzz when it comes to the romantic track with a pinch of high octane drama. The show is mostly loved for the connections between its contestants. 

Amidst the competition and a run to win, few contestants have found true love on the show. Meanwhile, many have also ended up heartbroken after their relationship faced the light of the real world. 

Let’s take a look at the ones that had a not so cordial end... 

1. Kat Kristen and Kevin Almasafir

Splitsvilla X3 couple Kat Kristen and Kevin Almasafir had quite a controversial end to their relationship recently. The couple, who started dating each other in the show, ended their relationship recently after they couldn’t sort things out between them. The two were also seen washing each other’s dirty linen in public during a live session, wherein they were seen accusing each other of cheating, dragging each other’s family in their fight, and more. Kat and Kevin landed up creating a huge controversy with their live chat too.

2. Priyank Sharma and Divya Agarwal

Splitsvilla X’s Priyank Sharma and Divya Agarwal’s breakup on national television was surely one that caught a lot of attention. While the couple was seen in much love during the show, things went downhill after Priyank participated in Bigg Boss and was seen getting along with Benafsha Soonawalla. Their intimacy was noticed by everyone and Divya confronted Priyank when she entered the BB house during a task. She also alleged that Priyank had done wrong with many other girls and broke up with him on national TV. Moreover, Benafsha was dating Varun Sood then and her closeness with Priyank led to a rift between the couple. Later, Varun and Divya started dating each other and are still going strong.

3. Varun Sood and Martina Thariyan

Splitsvilla 9’s couple Varun Sood and Martina Thariyan were everyone’s favourite during the season. The couple, who shared great chemistry on-screen, went separate ways after the show ended. Allegedly, Martina was dating Suraj Chajjed even before she entered the show and got back with him post the show. Meanwhile, Varun, who was quite in love with her, was left heartbroken after he faced reality. He confessed about being hurt during his interactive session with fans and shared that their relationship ended after the show.

4. Pavitra Punia and Paras Chhabra

Bigg Boss 14 fame Pavitra Punia and Bigg Boss 13 fame Paras Chhabra have a bitter past too. The two met in Splitsvilla and dated each other for a while after the show too. However, things ended on a sour note for the couple and rumours have it that Pavitra threw Paras out of the house after they had an ugly fight. Later, both of them were seen calling each other names and revealing a lot about each other in interviews. While Pavitra accused Paras of surviving on his girlfriends’ money, the latter alleged that she was married at the time she was dating him.

5. Piyush Sharma and Arshiya Arshi

Splitsvilla 12’s Piyush Sharma and Arshiya Arshi grabbed the limelight after they confessed their love for each other on the show. Even during the show, the couple had a time full of ups and downs owing to Arshiya’s elimination and re-entry as a wild card. However, they ended up being together in the end. However, it looks like the relationship had to see its end one day and that happened soon. They broke up after dating for a while and are not on talking terms anymore. In a candid interaction with a web portal, Piyush had shared that he is not in touch with Arhshiya and is fine keeping it that way.

6. Prince Narula and Anuki Tchokhonelidze

Popular TV personality Prince Narula, who is now happily married to the love of his life Yuvika Chaudhary, was also a part of Splitsvilla once. He bonded well with Anuki Tchokhonelidze and they were proclaimed as the winners of their season too. Prince and Anuki dated each other until he entered Bigg Boss and fell in love with Yuvika. Though not much is known about their breakup, their relationship surely was in talks when rumours of Anuki’s wild card entry in Bigg Boss started making rounds.
