MUMBAI: Karanvir is one of the most loved and cherished actors on television and these days he is ruling the television screens with his performance as Shaurya in Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani.

Karanvir was missing from the serial as he was tested COVID positive and the makers had introduced the kidnaping track and thus he was missing from the serial and finally he has recovered and is back on the show.

The fans love his chemistry with Debattama and they are becoming the favorite couple on screen.

Karanvir in a recent interview talked about how he didn’t bag the role in Gangs of Wasseypur.

He said that years back he had met Anurag Kashyap who then was making Wasseypur and he asked him if he could cast him in the movie, to which the director told him that he won’t be able to fit in any of his characters as he is too good looking for the roles that he writes, so sometimes he said that having good looks can also be a problem as an actor. 

Karanvir also revealed how a Bollywood director humiliated him and said the worst things to him.

The actor said, years back he had gone to meet a very big director who first told me that he has these big actors under him then why he should be singing him and what’s there in him.

Karanvir replied saying that he wants to work as an actor and he heard that the director was searching for an actor to cast in a movie and he requested him for an audition and told him that he is a good actor.

To which the director replied had told him that everyone is a good actor but you don’t have the personality of a star and that you could never become a hero, do one thing go down there is another production house maybe they would take you if you pay some money to them.

To which Karanvir told him that if he had to give money then he would only produce his movies, the director got offended and told him that he is very disrespectful and insulted him badly and threw him out of his office.

In the end, Karanvir said that when he was shooting for a trial of his movie that when the same director called and told him you didn’t call me for your trial so he said that finally, the tables had changed.
