Tina Philip reveals the preparations she did for Pratigya 2.

MUMBAI: Just two days back, it was reported that Bhumika Gurung is quitting Mann Kee Awaz Pratigya 2. 

Bhumika joined the show's star cast in the month of April. She played the role of Meera on the show. 

Her character's entry spiced up the drama as she got married to Pratigya's husband Krishna. 

Well, now with Bhumika's exit, the makers have roped in Tina Philip for the role of Meera.

The news came as a huge surprise for diehard fans of Tina. 

The actress has already started shooting for the show. 

TellyChakkar got in touch with Tina, who opened up about replacing Bhumika and her onscreen character. 

On being asked if she did any special preparations for the role of Meera, Tina said, ''Accent is a huge challenge for me and my character Meera. I was trying to learn Hindi for my first TV show and my grammar was all over the place. I am trying to learn the accent for this role. I am taking the help of my house help and speak to her in UP since she hails from there. Rest, I am learning bits and pieces from the star cast.''

Tina has previously starred in shows like Ek Brahm Sarvagunn Sampanna and Aye Mere Humsafar.

Pratigya 2 also stars Arhaan Behll and Pooja Gor in the lead roles.
