My husband is my biggest critic: Neha Marda

Neha Marda
Neha Marda, who is currently seen in the show Doli Armaanon Ki, is having a tough time playing wife in her real life. The actress, who got married to a Patna-based businessman Ayushman Agarwal two years back, has returned to Mumbai to pursue her acting career. She has been in a long-distance marriage, which is blissful, but does take a toll on her. When we got in touch with the pretty actress, she said, “Post marriage, my life has become superb. It is surely a different phase of life, which every girl goes through. And I am enjoying my married life." She continued, "It has been two years of marriage and I have come across many different aspects of it. Sometimes, it becomes difficult as I fly down to Patna to be with my family and again come back to Mumbai for my shooting but I manage my personal and professional life well." So how is your relationship with your in-laws? “My relationship with my in-laws is the same as my parents. My in-laws are my own parents. I feel very lucky to be a part of such an understanding and supportive family," she said. Do you watch Balika Vadhu? She said, “Yes, I do watch Balika Vadhu, not because I was a part of the show. I like it as it has always been very close to my heart and also my dear friends are part of the project.” When we asked her whether her businessman hubby was glued onto her shows, she quipped, "My husband is my biggest critic, but he can’t see it live so he records the show and watches it later. But he makes it a point to watch the show. If he likes or dislikes any scene, he tells me.” With so many reality shows, why are we not seeing you in any? Neha said, “I am happy that I am not seen in any reality show as I am not free. When I was free, I was offered two reality shows Bigg Boss and Nach Baliye, but I did not take up latter because my husband was busy and the former because I was not interested." "I wanted to do Jhalak Dhikhhla Jaa as I love dancing but because of some issues I rejected it. But next season, I am going to be a part of the dance reality show," she said. Did you always think of becoming an actress? "I never wanted to be an actress but I enjoy doing this work so I am in this field. I am a creative person, if I get time, I design jewellery," she said. So whom do you owe your success to? She quipped, “I owe my success to my mother and after marriage to my husband.” How similar is Urmi to Neha? “Completely same. Neha and Urmi are copy and paste," she said. Neha signed off on this note, "My favourite pass time is chilling with friends. It has to be a house party for sure."
