My parents gave me a tight slap on Holi - Teri Meri Ikk Jindri actor Manish Verma

MUMBAI: Whether it’s Bollywood stars, Television stars or viewers, the festival of colours ‘Holi’ is undoubtedly everyone’s favourite festival. Diving into a pool full of coloured water and putting colours on loved ones is the best thing about the festival. After all, Holi is all about creating memories for a lifetime.  One such celebrity is Zee TV’s show ‘Teri Meri Ikk Jindri’ actor Manish Verma. The Delhi based boy has a lot of memories attached to this festival and he is totally a Holi enthusiast.

“My best Holi memories include spending crazy moments with my friends in Delhi. I have a gang of six friends in Delhi. We used to get so excited in the month of February only as March is the month of Holi. Ohh god, those times were crazy like hell. But I didn’t get a chance to visit Delhi for the past few years due to hectic schedules. But this year, I am travelling to Delhi to create new memories with my friends and family. “

On speaking about the craziest Holi, Manish says “ used to love the show ‘shakalaka boom boom’ when I was a kid. I used to think that jaadu pencil is real and if I get this pencil, whatever I like, I will get it. Holi has always been my most favourite festival. I love Holi Colors, pichkaris and balloons from childhood. One day I thought ki jaadu pencil se colours, balloons and pichakari draw karunga toh mazze aajaege. So in search of that pencil, I escaped from my naani place and chalte chalte I went to a jungle kind of place. I was all lost. Then I started crying as I was very small and two strangers heard my voice and called up police. My parents gave me a tight slap on Holi”
