It’s time for some celebration in the Nautanki Films’ camp with their popular show on Colors, Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon completing a successful run of two years today (28 May 2014).

Yes, the journey of two of the most popular actors Vivian Dsena and Drashti Dhami of getting into the hearts of millions of fans started exactly two years back. This surely calls for some celebration, as the show has had a roller-coaster ride so far.

Branded as one of the biggest shows on Colors, Madhubala has made a mark with its gripping story line, effervescent cast, high production value, excellence in cinematography, and great team effort. Be it the past jodi of RK and Madhu or the present jodi of Raja and Madhu, viewers have always liked seeing Vivian and Drashti’s chemistry onscreen. Their popularity as a couple can be gauged by the awards they have received for being the Most Popular Jodi at varied award functions.

Above all, Vivian happens to be one of the very few male protagonists on television who has gone on to portray three different characters in the same show, starting with the Superstar RK, to the mentally challenged boy Raju to the lover-boy Raja.

We tried calling the protagonists Vivian and Drashti, but could not get through to them.

Congrats Team Madhubala, way to go!! And it is surely time to celebrate.

But wait here, you loyal fans, we also have a brief about the interesting track to open up in the show very soon.

As per sources, viewers of Madhubala will get a new kick in the storyline with Raja and Madhu deciding to go to Mumbai to start their life afresh. Raja who is now shown to be very much in love with Madhu will slowly realize her dilemma in staying with his family, who are completely different in nature and attitude. Understanding that his wife would need a better place to breathe in and live happily, Raja will take the extreme step of moving away from his family and settling in Mumbai. However, the very possessive relatives of Raja will also drop in at Mumbai to see if their son is happy. This will again create a big challenge for Madhu. Also, there will be a cultural difference seen as Raja and his family who happen to be villagers will find it tough to adjust to the lifestyle of Mumbai. This will lead to an interesting storyline with a comical touch. Overall, with the Mumbai leg of Raja and Madhu’s life to start, there will be a revitalization of storyline seen in Madhubala.

Congratulations, may the team have many more reasons to celebrate.
