MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 17 fame Firoza Khan, aka Khanzaadi, revealed her emotional journey in the music industry in a recent Instagram live session with well-known rapper Bohemia. She disclosed a moment of demotivation that was sparked by a discouraging comment from rapper Badshah, King, and Dino James in the reality show MTV Hustle.

Khanzaadi talked about an important meeting she had with Badshah, in which he supposedly advised her to steer clear of the hip-hop genre. Speaking about the event, she said that his remarks had left her feeling incredibly discouraged and that it had made her doubt her value in the field.

Khanzaadi shares how she felt after hearing Badshah's disheartening words and said, "Though Badshah complimented me as beautiful, he told me to leave the Hip hop genre. He told me that I should try my hand at Pop music. Although I felt like I was not deserving at the moment, but atleast they could have motivated me to pursue this path. I could have learnt it in three months, six months, or a year. After all this, I locked myself in my room and started writing songs. Every day, I used to wake up and listen to music. Now, I have a written total of 15 songs."

The conversation clarified the difficulties that young artists encounter while trying to navigate the intricacies of the music industry, especially in a field as competitive as hip-hop. Using the Instagram live session as a platform, Khanzaadi shared her story and encouraged others to keep going after their creative goals, demonstrating the effectiveness of being real and vulnerable in building connections with viewers.
