Every year 21 June is celebrated as the World Music Day. And today is the best day to have a small chat with beautiful and talented singer Neeti Mohan, who lives by the word “music”. Neeti, many are not aware has sung the title track of Zee TV’s DID Super Moms. “Yes, I have sung the title track of DID Super Moms. It feels great to sing this song for all the mothers out there. My mom loves the show and she is very happy and proud of me. It has a very nice theme and I enjoyed crooning it.” Tell us something about the track? “It is for the lovely mothers who are world to us. The song has been composed by Gaurav Vaswani one of the best composers in today’s time. He is the one who approached me for the song,” Neeti avers. Your parents must be very proud of you? “Yes, very much. My mom is my friend and mentor; she always guides and supports me. In fact, without my parents we (she and her sisters) wouldn’t have reached where we are today. In today’s time, it is very difficult to make a career but they have been our pillars,” she replies. Every music lover knows about Neeti. She is the one who astonished everyone with her award winning song Jiya Re from the film Jab Tak Hai Jaan. She later gave many back-to-back hits namely Ishq Wala Love from Student Of The Year, Saddi Galli Aaja from Nautanki Saala, Dil Kaagzi from Gippi and her latest track Nazar Laaye from Raanjhanaa. Not only movies, Neeti has also lent her voice in many television shows namely in the title tracks for Star Plus’ Nach Baliye, Colors’ Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (the latest promo song one two cha cha), title song of Channel V’s Dil Dostii Dance and now the title track of DID Super Moms.
