New mobile TV app to be launched in April

Good news for movie buffs. Now, all movie infotainment news will be available starting April 14 on an easy-to-use app "Moviestaan TV". "The unique app, which is free, will cover latest news from shooting locations, reports, trailers, songs and new launches. It will serve as a platform for launching short films too. Moviestaan TV will analyse, review and bring forth unknown facts, both 'live' and 'video on demand' formats," Ram Mohan Nair, founder and CEO of OM Ventures, promoters of Moviestaan TV, told reporters here on Thursday. To start with, the mobile channel will have news and content on Malayalam movies, which will later be spread in phases to Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movies. Popular film director Sibi Malayil released the logo of Moviestaan TV at a function here on Thursday. "Moviestaan TV will remain a link between the industry and the audience. Anyone who would love to dig deep into past stories will find Moviestaan TV to be an exhaustive video library of information," said Moviestaan TV creative director Pramod Payyannur. Moviestaan TV's beta version is presently available on android phones and will be available on iOS and Windows platform very soon. (Source: IANS)
