Manisha Rawat and Karanvir Sharma

MUMBAI: TellyChakkar exclusively reported that Karanvir Sharma, who was last seen in ALTBalaji’s Haq Se, has been roped in to play the male lead in Ashvini Yardi’s upcoming show for SAB TV under her banner Viniyard Films. .

(Read Here: Not Avinash Sachdev, Karanvir Sharma the lead in Ashvini Yardi's next?)

The show, which revolves around the relationship of a father-in-law and son-in-law, is tentatively titled as Jamai Ho Toh Aisa.

Ashvini has found her female protagonist in newbie Manisha Rawat. Interestingly, Manisha was supposed to play the lead in Zee TV’s Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega. But it is well said whatever happens, happens for the good.

Veteran actors Manoj Joshi and Anjali Gupta will play Manisha’s parents, and Anita Kulkarni will be seen as her mother-in-law.

We could not get though Manisha for a comment.

The team plans to go on floors by the 25th of this month.

Here’s wishing the entire cast and crew good luck for this new beginning!
