MUMBAI: TV's controversial reality show will be going digital this year. For six weeks the reality show will air on VOOT and will be hosted by Bollywood's famous producer and director, Karan Johar. The contestants will get locked in the controversial show next month.

Maera Mishra started her journey in the showbiz with dating reality show Splitsvilla 11, and went on acting in the television shows like Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega. She was supposed to start shooting for Sasural Simar Ka 2. However, her entry into the show got delayed, and now we hear she will be participating in Bigg Boss OTT.

Maera, who is a popular name on social media and enjoys a great fan following, also made headlines for dating actor-singer Adhyayan Suman. The two announced their breakup last year after being together for two years. Maera also featured in his song 'Peg Daariya' post their breakup. However, she shot for the song while she was dating him.

Talking about the show and its latest host, Karan, while confirming he will be hosting the Bigg Boss OTT,  had said, "My mom and I are huge Bigg Boss fans and wouldn’t miss it for a day. As a viewer, it keeps me hugely entertained with dollops of drama. For decades now, I have always enjoyed hosting shows and now with Bigg Boss OTT... it will surely be Over the Top. It’s my mother’s dream come true. Bigg Boss OTT will undeniably have a lot more sensational and dramatic content. I hope I can live up to the audience’s and my friends’ expectations, make Weekend Ka Vaar with the contestants an enjoyable affair in my own style, and up the ante on the entertainment quotient. Wait for it!”.
