Pawan Shankar , who is hailed by all for his intense portrayal of a lawyer in Star One's Siddhant, has left television to make his mark in Bollywood. The actor was also seen in Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasman, Aisa Des Hai Mera and Kasamh Se. Pawan has bagged a prestigious role in acclaimed producer Anubhav Sinha's upcoming flick. The movie is tentatively titled Rajdhani. Pawan says, "The production house, Seven Entertainment, is still contemplating over a suitable title for the film. I am essaying the character of a young guy who is one of the leads. All the characters play a vital role in the movie. All of us are important threads who tie all the aspects of the story together." The actor chose to remain tightlipped about the storyline saying, "I can't divulge more but it is based on politics." Directed by Anil Chaudhary, this is Pawan's third film which is slated to release in the next five months. The cast is shooting in Delhi. His other movies are Mr. Bhatti on Chutti and Niyati. Talking of his films Pawan says, " Mr. Bhatti on Chutti will release in the first week of July. Niyati is parallel cinema, which is about forced marriages that take place in Bihar. It is about the plight of intelligent but helpless guys who are forced by the rich and influential people to marry their daughters."
