MUMBAI: The Pearl Puri case has created shockwaves in the television industry, and many actors have come out in his support.  

Yesterday, we saw how the DCP said that the phone calls between the victim’s mother and Ekta Kapoor are false and that they have proof against Pearl.

The latest we know that the police were waiting for Pearl’s COVID results before they shift him to Thane jail.

Divya Khosla Kumar shares a post yesterday revealing the identity of the victim’s father and mother. She slammed them for putting a false case on Pearl. She also went on to say that the father is planting these stories and it is shameful that the mother is not coming out and speaking up.

As per media reports, the victim’s mother Ekta Sharma is related to Monish Bhal. She is his sister-in-law, that is, sister of his wife Arti Bhal.

Arti when she used to do movies had used her sister’s name Ekta as a screen name.

The family is kept a dignified silence as it’s an on-going case. In the phone calls with Ekta Kapoor, one heard Ekta Sharma (victim’s mother) saying that Pearl is innocent and her husband is framing the actor.

Well, Pearl has been taken to 14 days custody, and soon, his case will be heard in court. The entire television industry is standing by Pearl in this tough time.
