MUMBAI: Being surrounded by fans who completely adore him is what keeps actor, YouTuber, influencer Prateek Rana motivated. He says that he often arranges events to meet and interact with his fans. "I often keep a meet and greet session with my fans because they also want to meet their ideal. I used to keep these sessions in different states, we used to click pictures, make some videos and enjoy together. I love meeting with my fans,” he says.

He adds, “I still remember, it was my first meet and greet with fans in Dwarka. This was when I saw a fan girl wearing a t-shirt with my picture on it. It was really surprising for me as it was the first time. I was seeing this kind of love from my fans. From that day, I thought I am never going to stop and will keep motivating youth with my content. That day was so motivating for me.” 

Ask him if he has ever felt intimidated by the popularity he has, and he says, “Not at all, never. In fact, I feel really grateful to have reached this stage where I can interact with lakhs of people and they listen to me. I love motivating people with my content.” 

In fact, he says that all social media influencers should be responsible as people follow their posts. “A social media influencer has a lot of responsibility on their shoulders because so many people follow them. He must be careful. He should make his audience proud and motivate them,” he says. 

Of course, Prateek has had some funny encounters with fans too. “I was roaming around In Cannaught Place, Delhi, for my photoshoot and a girl came to me and directly proposed me. I was shocked and quiet, I welcomed her with a gesture and clicked pictures with her. She said I made her day. It was very overwhelming for me,” he says.
