Cute Priya Chauhan, who plays Tanni the younger sister of Pradeep (Pawan Shankar) in Kyaa Hua Tera Vaada, might want to move out of this Sony Entertainment Television show. “To be honest, I was never happy with the way my character eventually panned out. I was promised a proper love story with Madhav (Karam Rajpal). The creatives had also said that it will be a major track alongside the love triangle of Pradeep, Mona (Mona Singh) and Anuskha (Mouli Ganguly). But sadly things did not shape out as promised. I really can’t blame them for you know how TV operates. The entire pregnancy track where Madhav dumps me was disappointing.”
As of now Taani is not being seen on the show. “The creatives have promised me something big but at the same time have kept the doors open for me to move out, if I get something better. I am now looking for other roles. If given a chance I would love to play a romantic role or a no no-nsense corporate woman.”
One other reason why Priya wants to quit could be that the narrative in Kyaa Hua Tera Vaada is such that there is not much other characters can do apart from the main three leads. “This was so unlike my earlier Balaji show, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani where I played the werewolf Alina.”
